How to enjoy video streaming broadcasting to improve your language skills
We have started a Japanese learners’ chat room, using the BIGOLIVE app and found it is very enjoyable way to learn languages!
I would like to show you how to enjoy live streaming to improve your language skills.
We have introduced some tips to use BIGOLIVE to improve your language skills in the last article.
As you get used to using BIGOLIVE, you will find more ways to enjoy improving your language skills! We found some more ways to enjoy learning languages with BIGOLIVE!
Today’s tip is…
Collect your favourite phrases!
When you watch someone’s broadcasting, you will see 3-line icon at the bottom of the screen(second from left).
Video streaming app is a great chance to learn conversational phrases! If you click the icon, and choose ‘capture’ and then you can take a screenshot of the broadcasting. (Some broadcasters set not to allow people to take screenshots).
You can collect new phrases you have learnt from the app, make your original phrase card collection and use it in BIGOLIVE app when you talk to the broadcaster next time!
Giving gift items is a great communication tool to become friends with the broadcaster.
You can give gift items during a broadcasting. There are so many people who are watching the same broadcasting at the same time, it is hard to recognize each person during the broadcasting but when you talk to the broadcaster or when you give a gift item, broadcasters remember you and recognize you in the next broadcasting!
You can see the gift mark at the bottom of the screen.(gift box icon at very right)
You will see the gift items like below when you click the gift box icon.
You can purchase gift items above but it is understandable you feel awkward to give a paid gift while you are not used to the app yet… No worries! You can practice giving gift items with free gift items, until you get used to it. If you click the box icon (top left), you can choose free gift items as below.
