Today’s expression is (SUGIRU).
It literally means ‘too much’, and you can use it when something is too much or when you do something too much.

SUGIRUすぎる is made from 3 hiraganas, (す , き, る）so it is not too difficult to write SUGIRU in hiragana♪

• ぎ（GI）needs 2 dots at top right of き(KI).

すぎる(SUGIRU) means ‘too much.’

You can add SUGIRU（すぎる） after adjectives/ verbs.

For example…
はやい(hayai) →はや(haya)→はやすぎる(hayasugiru) too fast
しずか(shizuka) →しずか(shizuka)→しずかすぎる(shizukasugiru) too quiet
たべる(taberu) →たべ(tabe)→たべすぎる(tabesugiru) to eat too much
