Learning Japanese with Manga(Beginner Level)-OISHII
Hello, my name is Mika. I have been teaching Japanese as a second language for more than 20 years and there are some things I have noticed while teaching Japanese…Many people enjoy learning Japanese with Manga and it is a great way to pick some natural conversational Japanese!
I have been thinking about introducing Japanese using Japanese mangas for a while but it was difficult to use manga due to the copyright problem. However, I found the site to let people use the part of the manga with their promotional link ,so this is a good way for the manga author to promote their manga. The manga I use in this blog are real popular manga in Japan. I hope you enjoy learning Japanese with Manga!
Today’s expression is おいしい！（OISHII）.
It means delicious, tasty which is very important expression!
Let us show you some examples from manga.
おいしい is made from only 3 hiraganas, (お , い, し）so it is not too difficult to write OISHII in hiragana♪
おいしい(OISHII) means tasty.
おいしそう(OISHISOU) means ‘Sounds tasty. Looks tasty’.
You can remove the last i（い） and add sou（そう） in case of i-adjectives.
You can remove na（な） and add sou（そう） in case of na-adjectives.
